The Law Society of Scotland is the professional body for over 11,000 Scottish solicitors and was established in 1949. After initially being taken on to provide support for their old website, we were then tasked to create a new website using our trusted Umbraco 7 framework.
This project began with a back to front approach, as we were first brought in by Law Society Scotland to provide support work for their old website.
After providing ongoing support, it was decided that the best course of action was to create a new website using our Umbraco framework. Creating a new site would provide them with much more stability and usuability.
After taking a copy of their old site, we rebuilt it using our Umbraco framework giving, them access to a much easier to use CMS and significant performance improvements.
We then successfully migrated all of Law Society Scotland's content, ensuring no data was lost and it was all correctly formatted.
As a result of the additional functionality that the new website had, we were able to refresh the themes and design elements of the site, giving it a more modern and clean look.
